In a series of reports, the Vital Signs Partnership is examining key trends related to the deaths of migrant workers in the GCC, and making targeted recommendations to governments and others in the Gulf states and countries of origin.

In January 2023 the Vital Signs Partnership, with the Centre for Centre for Education and Communication (CEC), held an event in New Delhi titled Vital yet Vulnerable: Protecting Indian Workers in the Gulf. The purpose of the event was to bring experts from a wide range of backgrounds and disciplines together with a view to devising practical solutions to protect the fundamental rights of India’s most vulnerable overseas nationals.
