In January 2023 the Vital Signs Partnership, with the Centre for Centre for Education and Communication (CEC), held an event in New Delhi titled Vital yet Vulnerable: Protecting Indian Workers in the Gulf. The purpose of the event was to bring experts from a wide range of backgrounds and disciplines together with a view to devising practical solutions to protect the fundamental rights of India’s most vulnerable overseas nationals.
